Years ago, I asked a top-rated coach if indeed 24 hours a day was sufficient for fulfilling one’s purpose.
This coach was consistently making significant strides, and as an upcoming ambitious visionary with time challenges, I naturally presumed he’d agree with me that 24 hours wasn’t adequate and might even offer some strategies.
However, He let me know that ๐ฎ๐ฐ ๐ต๐ผ๐๐ฟ๐ was ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐น๐น๐ ๐๐๐ณ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ป๐ and ๐ถ๐ณ ๐ ๐ณ๐ฒ๐น๐ ๐ผ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ, ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ ๐ถ๐ป๐๐ฒ๐๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ถ๐บ๐ฒ ๐ถ๐ป ๐๐ป๐ป๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐. Over time, I realized it was true.
At first, I grappled with it because I am the strategy expert and I can plan for Africa.
Literally๐ However, through my planning efforts, I came to understand that 24 hours was indeed sufficient.
If I found myself consistently overwhelmed, it meant I was either overextending myself for the current period or engaging in activities that were unnecessary for the season, or perhaps both.
Either way, ๐ฎ๐ฐ ๐ต๐ผ๐๐ฟ๐ over the ๐ฐ๐ผ๐๐ฟ๐๐ฒ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ผ๐๐ฟ ๐น๐ถ๐ณ๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐บ๐ฒ is ๐ฒ๐ป๐ผ๐๐ด๐ต ๐๐ผ ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ฐ๐ผ๐บ๐ฝ๐น๐ถ๐๐ต the tasks youโve been destined to fulfill God who made time gave us what we need per day to be fruitful and when He made the calculation, it came to 24 hours a day.
So if you ever feel that 24 hours isn’t sufficient, it’s time to hit pause. Because it is.
So this is my charge to you: If 24 hours don’t feel sufficient for you, take a moment to reassess your priorities and commitments.
Identify your ๐บ๐ผ๐๐ ๐ถ๐บ๐ฝ๐ผ๐ฟ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐ for the season.
Break them into ๐๐บ๐ฎ๐น๐น๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐๐ฎ๐๐ธ๐.
๐ฆ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฑ ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐บ ๐ผ๐๐ ๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐๐ถ๐บ๐ฒ depending on how much time you ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐น๐ถ๐๐๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐น๐น๐ ๐ต๐ฎ๐๐ฒ to work on your tasks per day, factoring in ๐๐ถ๐บ๐ฒ for ๐ฒ๐ป๐ผ๐๐ด๐ต ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐.
And tackle them ๐ผ๐ป๐ฒ ๐ฑ๐ฎ๐ ๐ฎ๐ ๐ฎ ๐๐ถ๐บ๐ฒ.
If there is a deadline, occasionally you can stretch your limits, but ๐ฎ๐๐ผ๐ถ๐ฑ ๐ฑ๐๐ฒ๐น๐น๐ถ๐ป๐ด in a ๐๐๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐น๐บ.
It’s unproductive and can also negatively impact other aspects of your life.
Embrace the ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐๐ป๐ฑ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐บ๐ถ๐ป๐ฑ๐๐ฒ๐ that you have ๐ฎ๐บ๐ฝ๐น๐ฒ ๐๐ถ๐บ๐ฒ to ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ฐ๐ผ๐บ๐ฝ๐น๐ถ๐๐ต what you’ve been called to do.
That doesnโt mean you should be lackadaisical.
As you engage in your tasks, prioritize self-care for your spirit, soul, mind, and body.
Approach your work joyfully and take the time to do it well.
Certainly, strategy and productivity are essential, and that’s where I come in.
However, remember that 24 hours is ample time to accomplish what God has called you to do, which also includes sufficient rest.
I hope this message resonates with you.
Praying for you and rooting for you.
You definitely can be all you were born to be
